Management of Overweight and Obesity (OBE)


The guideline is formatted as two algorithms, with annotations:

  • Algorithm A - Screening for Overweight and Obesity
  • Algorithm B - Treatment fro weight loss and Weight maintenance

The guideline describes the critical decision points in the management of dylipidemia (Lipids) and provides clear and comprehensive evidence based recommendations incorporating current information and practices for practitioners throughout the DoD and VA Health Care systems. The guideline is intented to improve local management of patients with dyslipidemia and patient outcomes.
